Former Short Stop for The University of Texas at Tyler and Assistant College Baseball Coach at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas in charge of all Infielder and Hitting Instructor. Also, works as a scouting recruiter for the Perfect Game in Fort Myers, Florida. ​

Tim moved from Texas to bring his knowledge of the game to Update New York. He is available for hitting, pitching lessons, and infield/outfield work.

The thriving voice you hear leading a pre-practice stretch or encouraging an athlete to finish a workout session strong is that of Strength and Conditioning Coach Frank Bahamonde II.


Coach Bahamonde oversees The Sports Yard’s newly renovated weight room. With plans on expanding and growing with time to a primmere athlete training facility. Coach Bahamonde’s duties included assisting with the exercise and strength conditioning programs to help players achieve and maintain optimal fitness throughout the pre-season, in-season and off-season. With the Sport yard house teams and individuals who seek an opportunity to improve, he worked with numerous athletes in the CNY area. Helping each and every one achieve their goals.


Prior to joining the sport yard staff, coach bahamonde worked for Oswego City Schools as their head strength and conditioning coach. Prior to that he has been an assistant strength and conditioning coach in local high schools including Baldwinsville, Liverpool and Central Square.


Coach Bahamonde received a bachelor’s degree in Physical education from SUNY@Cortland in 2001 and added a master’s degree in coaching education from SUNY@Cortland in 2007. Coach bahamonde was born on December 18th, 1979, and is married to Erin. They have two children, Elijah and Leah.

Andrew Taft is a recent graduate of Le Moyne College where he spent the last two
years holding down first base for the Dolphins. Over the two years he combined to
slash .334/.448/.660 with 23 doubles and 32 home runs. He was first team NE-10
in both 2018 and 2019 along with winning player of the year in 2019. Taft was a
consensus East Region first team selection by the D2CCA, NCBWA and ABCA for
both 2018 and 2019 as well. His 17 and 15 single season home run statistics are #1
and #2 on Le Moyne’s all time single season home run list. Prior to Le Moyne he
spent 3 years at Division 1 University of Buffalo. He graduated in 2019 with a degree
in Management & Leadership. Andrew is available upon request for lessons in
Hitting, Fielding, and Catching.
